Christian Science healing
Christian Science healing is a distinct form of spiritual healing.
It is spiritual because it is not physical or material in nature.
However in Christian Science healing, the spirit which heals is the one and only Spirit, the divine creator of all.
Interestingly in the definition give by the Healing Trust, healers are directed to attune to "the Source of Healing energy".
Essential elements of Christian Science healing are
- Finding our true spiritual self through prayer, and so taking our proper place in the world as a child of God, caring for our spiritual brothers and sisters.
- Ensuring divine healing thoughts can pour into our consciousness, in place of the chaotic thoughts imposed by the material world.
- Eliminating all fear. Our textbook says "Fear is the fountain of sickness". The Bible says "Perfect love casteth out fear"
